After my visit to Kwame falls, I saw a sign when waiting for my taxi driver, Strawberry Fields Together. I asked my tour guide about the location and it sounded pretty awesome. I had no idea this place existed.

I've read so much about Strawberry Fields Together after visiting Kwame Falls.

On August 20, 2017, Rosheena and I packed our bags and off we went to the parish of St. Mary. I love this parish because it’s beautiful and rich in history and not much tourist venture this part of the island. It’s my second time visiting St. Mary and I was loving every moment of it.

We took a coaster bus in Half Way Tree behind the transport centre across from the gas station beside the Pavilion Plaza. It drove along the famous Junction route along the winding main road until it got to St. Mary.

When we got to Anotto Bay, We took a Taxi to Robin's Bay, the community in which Strawberry Fields Together is located. It took around half an hour from Anotto Bay to Strawberry Fields Together because the driver knew the roads pretty well.

I had to pay an extra JMD$150 because it’s not a taxi route. I knew we were near when I saw the bus stop painted with the Strawberry Fields Together logo in Robins Bay. At the bus stop, you will turn and continue on the dirt road. You will see the branded signs and they will be your guide to relaxing Strawberry Fields Together. Once I entered the property, I saw crystal blue seas, Private Cottages and to top it off, we were surrounded by nature.

I instantly felt an overwhelming feeling of joy, peace and relaxation. We paid $500 to enjoy the property and I must say it was a great day. The view of the Ocean was spectacular. We took a lot of pictures as per usual, reasoned about life and just basked at the moment.

Hidden destinations like Strawberry Fields Together gives me so much clarity.

My second visiting was hectic in terms of transportation because my family and I made a very poor decision to visit on a Sunday.

Taking public transport on a Sunday is a very bad idea if you are planning an adventure. But we were lucky to see one of the workers stranded in Anotto Bay. We told her we are from Kingston to visit Strawberry Fields Together. She too was stranded because no taxis were operating, and she had the same difficulty getting to work. She called her boss and we got a ride with her.

You will have a blast at Strawberry Fields Together. Just pack your travel bag and head to Robins Bay. It will be a relaxing day with family and friends or even a solo trip would be perfect.
