Waterfalls keep finding me and I just have to visit. I think chasing waterfalls is one of my callings.

I could not resist taking a photo in the road

I saw a clip of this waterfall on Instagram. It was located near a community called Clydesdale.

I decided to explore other waterfalls before venturing to that part of St.Andrew because public transportation does not operate on that side of the island. Hence, I decided to explore other waterfalls around the island.

View of the city

My trip to Cascade Waterfall was via bike. Therefore, I knew I had to charter a vehicle to explore this hidden gem.

Months passed. I decided to message Green Forest Jamaica. It was music to my ears when Tony King said he knew where the waterfall was located.

The view was absolutely amazing.

Tony decided to visit the location of this gem to check if was flowing before confirming the tour.

A few hours passed and I received a video of the waterfall gushing over the rock. This was confirmation the tour was in full effect.

The road less traveled

Shev, Abby, and I decided to venture to St. Andrew to explore the waterfall that puts the H in Hidden.

Guys, please don’t venture to any waterfall without someone who knows it’s location. Don’t be stupid by trying to save a couple of dollars. You just might lose thousands of your life.

Potholes for decades

There’s a saying that goes, ‘prevention is better than cure'.

The journey to St.Andrew began after 6:00 AM.  Shev, Abby, and I ventured to Irish Town in St. Andrew.

We had the roads almost to ourselves.

Irish Town was cold enough to produce frost. Well, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit. We all regret not carrying out sweaters.

Our tour guide Tony King from Green Forest Jamaica was awaiting our arrival.

Road rarely traveled.

I could not resist the view of the city and the lonely road, so I  took a few pictures in the road and of the city view.

I started to reminisce on my adventures of Fish Dunn, Balcarres, Holey, Spring Hill and Cascade waterfalls. I love this part of St. Andrew into Portland. I call it the road rarely traveled.

Views for decades.

The traffic was almost non-existent and the view of the mountains was remarkable. The road was full of Potholes to Peters Field.

We were so high up in the hills, I felt pretty close to heaven. I was speechless with my head out the window admiring the beauty of nature.

The hike is about to start.

The vibe was amazing. Green Forrest Jamaica told stories about the rivers and the forest.

Upon arriving in Peters Field, We supported a small entrepreneur by purchasing water and snacks.

Tucked away in the hills of St. Andrew, Peters Field Waterfall I call it.

We then did a mini hike to Peters Field Waterfall.

We made our way along a dirt track with the help of Tony. He never left our side.

Toni did not leave us, not even an inch

Tony had to make stairs during the hike and chopped the overgrown bushes as we made our way to Peters Field Waterfall.

We saw a view of the waterfall which was remarkable.  I was shocked to see how tucked away it was, hidden in plain sight. Also, we were surrounded by coffee.

Blue Mountain Coffee

I was convinced that Peters Field Waterfall did not want the fame.

There was no way I would have found this gem without the help of Green Forest Jamaica.

The journey continues

We did not regret spending all that money. We were willing to pay more if Tony had requested. He was professional, fun knowledgeable about the area and nature.

I recommend Green Forest Jamaica for all my tours in the Blue Mountain area.

There it was, Peters Field Waterfall in the distance

I screamed for joy seeing the waterfall in the distance.  “What the fuck” slip out my mouth.  “This is not real’, I said.

Nothing makes my heart sing more than meeting waterfalls.

Tony making stairs for us. You can tell me he’s not the best tour guide ever.

Through the bushes we go. Tony leading the way while chopping wild bushes.

We started to dance after meeting Peters Field Waterfall

We crossed a river; into the bushes before being greeted by Peters Field Waterfall. What a stunner. Abby and I started dancing. We made it to another hidden gem.

I never met a waterfall I didn’t love, and man do I love me some Peter’s, Field Waterfall.

The water was freezing cold. We started capturing the beauty of the surroundings and the waterfall.

I was the only one brave enough to take a dip into the water. I even floated and did a hair flip. Man did a suffered. I shivered so hard, I left them at the waterfall and went searching for the sun.

Tony, also my photographer along with Abby.

The end of the tour. Had to stop to take a picture.

We made our way back to the van. We purchase fish and chicken soup and Jerk Chicken.

This Peters Field Waterfall is truly a treasure.

Discovering more spots in St. Andrew is nothing short of amazing.
