Emerald Dreams at Waterfall Number Nine in Spring Bank

“The poetry of the earth is never dead.” –John Keats

Nature welcomed me warmly at Waterfall Number Nine with all her beautiful decorations. I was immediately impressed. A large, deep pool sat gracefully at its base—perfect for a refreshing dip or a moment of quiet reflection.

And the water? Emerald green. Absolutely stunning. It was as if the waterfall was showing off, basking in the glow of the sun. Towering trees stood proudly above us, their shadows dancing across the surface and adding even more charm to the scene.

Although Waterfall Number Nine didn’t quite meet the expectations set by my beloved Waterfall Number Three (that one still has me under its spell), it had its undeniable charm. I still fell in love with its unique personality. Each waterfall in Spring Bank has a soul of its own, and this one spoke in vibrant greens and golden sunlight.

I was in dreamland and knew I had to make the most of it—time was running out. Of course, I climbed up to get that cool shot, feeling the water flow over my body. It was one of those moments that grounded me in gratitude. Being surrounded by so much natural beauty never gets old.

These waterfalls aren’t just for the thrill—they’re perfect for chilling, relaxing, and even having a picnic. And thankfully, this time, there were no mosquitoes to interrupt the peace. We were deep in the hills of Spring Bank, a place where even wild hogs roam. But don’t worry—my tour guides were ready for anything. Spring Bank feels like a wild fairytale—untamed and full of magic.

I’m on a journey to romanticize my life by exploring magical places like this. Spring Bank is the kind of place you fall in love with—over and over again.

For me, exploring off the beaten path in Jamaica isn’t just about hopping on a bus, catching a taxi, biking, or walking (and sometimes begging) for a ride. It’s about having the courage to grow, to surrender to adventure, and to be open to transformation.

I’ve made a commitment to visually document these adventures. This isn’t just a blog—it’s a love letter to Jamaica, my lifestyle journal, and my creative outlet all wrapped into one.

I love being creative. I love capturing these moments. I love telling the story of a girl falling in love—with waterfalls, with nature, and with herself. Waterfall Number Nine may not have claimed the title of "favorite," but I’m completely obsessed with that emerald green pool. It’s a scene I’ll never forget.

So… have I convinced you to explore Spring Bank yet? Which waterfall are you most excited to see? Let me know in the comments below! I’ve found thirteen waterfalls in Spring Bank so far—and the journey isn’t over yet.

Stay tuned—more hidden treasures await! 🌿💧✨
