Double Cliff Waterfall in Collington Trout Hall Clarendon

“It is not down in any map; true places never are.” – Herman Melville

My first trip to North Clarendon was a solo trip. The aim was to visit two waterfalls but I only explored Brae Head Waterfall on Collington Road in Crooked River.

I made the best decision ever when I decided to return to Clarendon to view the second fall. My second trip to Clarendon was with T’na and Shev aka Exploring Jamaica. It has been my best trip in 2020. I will let you know why in a minute.

This trip was taken via public transportation. This mode of transportation made this trip even more epic.

I didn't have to hurry to Downtown Kingston for a coaster Bus to May Pen. Walked fifteen minutes on Main Street to Guinep Tree where the Crooked River minivans were parked.

GPS replaced asking questions about the destination I want to explore. Two dope humans Shev and T’na replaced talking and making friends with strangers on the Coaster Bus or Minivan. These two people are the reason this trip is the best in 2020. They are fun, down to earth, and love adventures.

I travelled to Crooked River in style 😁with Shev and T’na. When we got to Crooked River Square, we made a right turn passing Baptist and McDonald community before reaching the Brea Head community.

We then turned right on Collington Road that can't be missed because there is a sign.

There was no official parking space. The space we secured was close to the fall.

While taking pictures of Brae Head Waterfall, we saw Rayan. We introduced ourselves then showed him a video of the second fall we wanted to visit. He knew where it was perfect. Hence, he became our tour guide.

While Rayan was waiting on us to wrap up Brae Head Waterfall. He told us about another waterfall called Double Cliff Waterfall located fifteen minutes away in Collington in Trout Hall.

My face lit up like a Christmas tree when I realized another waterfall was added to our list for that day.

Rayan asked the most welcoming elderly lady to park on her property and she happily said yes.

Some parts of the track to Double Cliff Fall were bushy, wet, muddy, and extremely narrow so we had to be very careful.

To note, the path to the fall is on Private property. Therefore, don't go exploring without informing the owner or call Rayan at 876-862-1803.

We passed through a Chocolate farm and saw other fruit trees and ground provisions such as Yam and Banana.

We knew we were near the fall after hearing the sweet love music it was playing. An instant waterfall orgasm occurred.

I think my mission in life is to see as many waterfalls as possible because it brings me so much joy and 🙈🙊😁 "pleasure".

I like to share my love for waterfalls with others. I get to put a smile on someone's face just by searching for nature's hidden gems.

We took pictures, laughed hard, and created memories. We were all in awe of nature.

We spent around twenty minutes at Double cliff Waterfall then off to fall number three in James Hill Clarendon which was a twenty-minute hike according to Rayan. He also stated that waterfall number three was called Johnson Crawle Waterfall.

Rayan picked Grapefruits and Tangerines on our journey back with the permission of the owner. She was an elderly lady who was looking in the distance.

Rayan was very patient, helpful, and ensure we were comfortable and saw Double Cliff Waterfall without any injuries.

To be continued.......
