A Perfect Ten: Exploring Room and Hall in St. Mary, Jamaica

“There's no time to be bored in a world as beautiful as this.”

Introduction:

We continued the adventure in Woodside which took us deep into the heart of St. Mary, Jamaica, where the enchanting allure of Room and Hall awaited. I can’t wait to share videos on my YouTube channel about this paradise.

What began as a trek along a narrow path turned into a day filled with unexpected delights, from tasting the sweetness of wild chocolate to encountering the vibrant Jamaican Tody.

The highlight, however, was the breathtaking beauty of Room and Hall, leaving an indelible mark on our journey.

Chocolate Treats and Wildlife Encounters:

As we meandered down the narrow path to Room and Hall, my guide Noel and I stumbled upon a sweet surprise - wild chocolate.

Not fully ripe, it offered a delightful taste that added a touch of sweetness to our adventure.

Shortly after, the forest revealed another treasure: the indigenous Jamaican Tody, also known as the Robin Redbreast or Rasta Bird.

Witnessing this colorful bird fall from its nest, we decided to bring it along, with Noel expressing a heartfelt desire to care for it.

Room and Hall Unveiled:

Upon reaching Room and Hall, a sight unfolded that left me spellbound.

The water, in the perfect shade of blue, was a breathtaking revelation.

The first glimpse of this oasis marked a moment of awe, heightened by the unexpected rain that began to drizzle, adding a magical touch to the experience.

As we prepared to take pictures, we gently released the Tody, who, having regained some strength, ventured off to explore.

Coffin Hole: A Brief Interlude:

A short distance away, Coffin Hole beckoned, promising another picturesque setting.

After capturing the beauty of this spot through a few lens clicks, our attention returned to Room and Hall, where the turquoise water invited us to linger and savor the moment.

A Perfect Ten Rating:

Reflecting on the day spent exploring St. Mary, I couldn't help but assign a perfect ten to this adventure.

The stunning beauty of Room and Hall, coupled with the unexpected encounters with wildlife, created a tapestry of memories that will forever be etched in my mind.

The knowledge gained, the sweetness of wild chocolate, the brief companionship with the Jamaican Tody, and the refreshing rain at Room and Hall all contributed to a day that surpassed expectations.
