July 22, 2017, Rosheena, Bryanna, and myself decided to beach hopping in Portland, which was one of my best days ever. After visiting SanSan Beach, next on the list was Winnifred Beach.

We took a taxi from San San and ask the driver for Winnifred Beach stop. We started to walk to the beach when we kinda got lost..lol But we were saved by two young boys from the community. They were heading to the beach as well.

We did not know it was a free beach, so we pretended like we knew the boys from the community. DWL. I laugh ridiculous when I found out it was free. But there are persons at the gate asking for donations to keep the beach clean.

In the Fairy Hill community there is a beach called Winifred Beach also call Fairy Beach.

Winifred is located close to Blue Lagoon and Boston Bay in Portland Antonio.

This beach is excellent for snorkelling because of the offshore coral reefs. Other activities include horseback riding along with the beach and monkey island boot tours.

I fell I love at first glance with the crystal clear water. Winnifred has a place in the hearts of locals and foreigners because it’s so beautiful, fun relaxing and It’s one of most authentic beaches in Port Antonio.

This beach is relaxing and full of entertainment. You might find visitors playing games such as football and cricket. The possibilities endless when it comes to having the beach to yourself.

Be mindful of the rocky road heading to the beach.

The gold-colour sand beach is a party venue and you will definitely find vendors selling a variety of foods especially Jerk Chicken.
